Johannes Ebner completed his training as a tax clerk at a tax firm in Rostock in 2010. He then pursued a dual study program with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, during which he underwent practical training at the Hamburg-Barmbek-Uhlenhorst tax office. Johannes Ebner successfully completed his studies in 2013, earning the title of Dipl.-Finanzwirt (FH).
Subsequently, he initially worked as a clerk in an income tax office and later spent several years in the audit department at the Hamburg-Hansa tax office.
During this time, Johannes Ebner completed his Master of International Taxation (M.I.Tax) at the International Tax Institute of the University of Hamburg while working and passed the tax advisor exam in 2016.
After leaving the tax administration, he worked at the law firm Möhrle Happ Luther and joined RUGE FEHSENFELD as a team leader in 2018. In 2021, Johannes Ebner was awarded the title of “Certified Advisor for International Tax Law” by the Hamburg Chamber of Tax Advisors.
Johannes Ebner primarily advises companies and entrepreneurs on all tax matters, especially in international contexts. He also advises our clients on the taxation of cryptocurrency transactions. In 2023, Johannes Ebner was awarded the title of “Certified Advisor for Crypto Assets and Taxes (WIRE)” by the Institute for Applied Economic Law.
Since July 2023, Johannes Ebner has been a partner at RUGE FEHSENFELD.
